Classic cars of all kinds were on display at the city park in Starbuck, Saturday, for the Minnewaska Classic Car Show. Each vehicle has many stories and has had blood, sweat and tears shed by their owners in restoring and maintaining the beauty of days past. While walking through the crowd of people, you could hear them saying things like “this was my first car” or “my wife and I had our first date in one of those.” Visitors also had a chance to vote for their favorites.  One division was e-bikes and one of the favorites was a 4-wheel, mountain e-bike at left.

The 3rd Annual Starbuck Vintage and Artisan market also took place in the park at the same time, providing  shoppers with many handcrafted, vintage and antique items for sale. Pottery (with Joshua Johnson of The Pottery Dudes at left), soaps, antiques, crochet and hand-sewn items, demonstrations on caning furniture, beaded tree danglers, handcrafted jewelry, artwork, woodwork and sublimation art were just a few of the featured goods at the market. Food trucks offered delicious food, and gorgeous views and a breeze off the lake made the event a delight!
