The Minnewaska Showstoppers presented “The Lighting Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical for its annual summer show during Waterama week at Minnewaska High School. The production was a lively and exciting adaptation of Rick Riordan’s popular young adult novel, “The Lightning Thief.”

The cast and crew consisted of a large number of local talent.  Sophie Grandy, played Percy Jackson with Jennie Odello as Annabeth Chase; Ethan Eliason as Grover, Mr. D; Gabriella Bartholet as Silena Beauregard; and Miles Bryce as Luke.

The musical also featured a number of talented musicians and a solid production crew.  The production attracted large crowds each day of the show, which ran July 24-27.
