Voters in Starbuck will have a choice of four candidates running for Starbuck Mayor and five candidates running for two council seats.

Incumbent Mayor Gary Swenson filed for reelection and Cody Blevins, Jeffrey Kleven and Luke Wild also filed for the two-year term as Starbuck Mayor.

Incumbents Mary Baukol and Steve Gorder filed for their respective seats on the Starbuck Council, with Gene Rossum, Jarrod Wild and Kris Goracke also filing for the two, four-year city council seats. 

City of Glenwood

There won’t be a choice for voters to fill two open city commission seats in Glenwood.  The incumbents, Glenwood City Commissioners Mavis Pattee and Todd Gylsen, were the only two to file for their respective seats on the city commission.  The commission seats are  four-year terms.

City of Long Beach

In Long Beach, there is no race for the city council positions.  Mayor Mike Pfeiffer will run unopposed for his position.  Councilmember Patia Jensen is also running unopposed.  While Councilmember Reggie Proulx did not file for his seat on the council, Cody Kurowski was the only other person to file for that  city council position. 

City of Lowry

In Lowry, two filed for the Lowry Mayor position.  Incumbent Daniel Sutton filed and William (Bill) Stark filed for the mayor position .  Patricia McCrory, DJ Ashler and Jackie L. Olson  are all running unopposed for their respective positions on the Lowry City Council. 

City of Villard

In Villard, Mayor Jason Rupp was the only one to file for the Villard Mayor and Ann Butler was the only one to file for two open seats on Villard City Council.

City of Sedan

There’s no race for mayor and city council in Sedan.  Keith Kirchhevel filed for Mayor and Nancy Clausen and Sharon Simonson were the only two to file for the two open Sedan City Council seats.  

Pope County Board

Incumbents Paul Gerde, District 3 and Gordy Wagner, District 2, are running unopposed for their respective seats on the Pope County Board of Commissioners.
