Last week, students at Glacial Hills Elementary School had a special visit from Rebecca Longtin with Prairie Garden Farms, and they were all about those Asiatic Lilies! Students got hands-on with these beautiful flowers, exploring all the cool parts—pollen, stamen, stem, petals, and pistil! They even dissected the lilies to see what’s happening inside. And the fun didn’t stop there! Each student crafted their very own bouquet to take home. Talk about a day full of creativity and learning!
