The Harvest Ball, hosted by the Auxiliary of Glacial Ridge Health System on Saturday, October 5, 2024, raised funds for a state-of-the-art training mannequin, SimMan, to teach critical skills to hospital staff. Joshua and Jennifer Chan served as MCs, with Joshua highlighting the importance of acquiring this life-saving training technology for employees.

Hospital CEO Kirk Stensrud and his wife, Carli, were in attendance, along with Glacial Ridge Health System Board Member, Dennis Martinson, his wife Karen, and their daughter and son-in-law, Kirsten and Eric Nelson. New hospital staff introduced included Dr. Al Patel (internal medicine), Mike Claussen (family medicine), and Katelyn Krueger (PA-C dermatology). 

The event featured a 50/50 cash raffle, a pizza oven chance board, a vintage fall centerpiece auction and a wall of wine and beer. The Blues Brothers Revue performed, and nurses joined in dancing with the band. Dinner, provided by Minnewaska House Brewing Co + Grill, included grilled pork chops, roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, apple pie and frosted pumpkin bars.
