Glacial Hills Elementary kicked off October with an awesome start! Every Friday afternoon, the kids dive into an afternoon of STEAM and Environmental Education classes that include Young Roots I: Wildlife and Horticulture, Young Roots II: Outdoor Recreation and Wellness, Brain Builders, and Coding. These classes are offered throughout the entire year for all K-6 students. In the Brain Builders class, the challenge in October was to design and build nature boats. Last week, the kids had a blast testing their creations on the water!
