A holistic perspective views the universe, especially living nature, as interconnected and complete. This idea is evident when you step into Hill Tribe Holistics, where owner Jackie Hill aims to support her customers’ well-being with all-natural products that nurture both body and mind.

Hill Tribe Holistics, newly opened in downtown Starbuck, offers a wide variety of products for everyone. “We have loose tea, in-house-made potpourri, pain relief creams, energy-cleansing items for the home, crystals, feng shui trees, and wild yam cream for hormone balance,” Jackie shares. Our jewelry also features healing properties, and we offer handcrafted purses from Mexico.”

Jackie’s journey into holistic health began when she became a mother. “I wanted to avoid chemicals,” she says. “For example, instead of traditional cough syrup, people can turn to elderberry syrup as a natural remedy.”

Becoming a mother inspired Jackie to reconnect with her heritage. “We didn’t know much about our family’s history,” she explains. “Through research and asking questions, we discovered our Indigenous roots. Our family belongs to the Muscogee Creek Tribe from Okmulgee, Oklahoma, and we’re now all enrolled in the tribe.”

Jackie moved to Starbuck four years ago and, in 2021, launched Lakes Area Residential Cleaning. Now, she’s excited to embark on a new venture. “The idea of a store had been sitting on me for a while,” she says. Her passion for natural alternatives and connection to her Indigenous culture inspired her to open Hill Tribe Holistics.

“Everything in the store reflects a connection with nature. Mother Earth and my ancestors’ understanding of plants and animals are one,” explains Jackie. “Our focus is sustainability and eco-friendly.  The products we offer are free from chemicals and dyes. This store is an opportunity for me to share my culture, values, and beliefs with others,” she stated.

“We welcome everyone to visit and try our products. I’m committed to making Starbuck a better place, and I’m thrilled to contribute something unique to our community,” she said.

Hill Tribe Holistics is open Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Check out their Facebook page for more information on their products and the upcoming Grand Opening.
