Department of Natural Resources, Forester, Kylee Berger, will be in Glenwood at 10 a.m. on Dec 4 and available to discuss possible options for cost-share for treating buckthorn. Volunteers and the city are making progress in management of buckthorn in Barsness Park. If you have buckthorn infested property adjacent to or nearby the park you are welcome to attend. It would be great to reduce or eliminate seed bearing trees surrounding the park.
