Minnewaska 2nd and 3rd graders perform in concert
Minnewaska Area Elementary School students in grades 2 and 3 performed in concert last Tuesday night, Dec. 10 in the high school auditorium. There was a packed house for both concerts.
The theme of the second-grade concert was “The Big Chill” and included at least seven winter-related songs, followed by a Christmas Sing-Along with members of the audience. Directing the concert was Mrs. Listerud.
Next up were the third graders with a concert entitled “Sounds of the Season.” The third-grade concert, directed by Jen Germundson and Jess Listerud, included eight holiday and winter-related songs, including “Here We Go A-Shoveling” and “Fiesta De Navidad.”
