What a difference a few weeks can make.  This photo taken Sunday, Dec. 8 by Douglas Skonberg, a 1976 Glenwood High School graduate, when there were just a handful of portable fish shelters on Lake Minnewaska and the ice was just thick enough for anglers to walk out on the ice.  This week, some anglers were driving vehicles on the ice and larger, permanent ice shelters had moved onto the lake.  Skonberg captured this beautiful sunset while in Glenwood visiting his mother, Rose Skonberg, and sister, Sandy O’Brien.  He currently lives in Spring, Texas.
