The Starbuck Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet and Meeting is set for Saturday, Jan. 25 at the Starbuck Community Center.
Social hour and a silent auction will begin at 5 p.m. followed by a short meeting at 6 p.m. and followed by dinner.
There will be special presentations and recognitions at the event and chamber members and non-members are welcome to attend.
The annual banquet and meeting is an opportunity for Starbuck area businesses and community members to come together and share information and ideas. It is also a time for new businesses and new members to be introduced and be welcomed as part of the Starbuck Area Chamber of Commerce, according to the Starbuck Area Chamber of Commerce Board.
One aspect of the meeting is to highlight the events and successes the chamber achieved throughout the year. These events promote the city for tourism, brings an economic boost to businesses and unites the community, it was stated in the invitation to the banquet.
During the event, the 2025 Heritage Days Buttons will be available to purchase. Single buttons are $5 and a bag of 25 buttons sell for $125. Businesses are encouraged to buy a bag of 25 buttons for resale at their respective businesses or to hand out to employees and customers. Buying a button is a great way to show your support for Heritage Days, it was stated.
The featured business this year will be Minnewaska Community Health Services and will present an inside look at their business. Also meet the 2025 Heritage Days Royalty and Chamber Board of Directors. The Volunteer of the Year award, Community Service Award, and the Heritage Days Grand Marshal will be announced. There will also be a silent auction to bid on. Drop off silent auction items at the Chamber or at the Community Center by Saturday morning, Jan. 25.
