Minnewaska Area Middle School/High School Music is inviting the community to support its first-ever Mattress Fundraiser on Sunday, April 13, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For that one day only, Minnewaska Area High School will be transformed into a mattress showroom, featuring 35 different styles in all sizes at prices below retail. Customers can test out mattresses and browse additional items such as adjustable power bases, luxury pillows, mattress protectors, premium sheets, and Cordaroy’s convertible chairs.

Name brands including Purple, Beautyrest, Helix, and Therapedic will be available, all with full factory warranties and made to order. Mattresses will be delivered within two to three weeks of purchase, and delivery options are available. Proceeds from each sale will benefit the Minnewaska Area Middle School/ High School Music Program, according to Heidi Polzin, MAS band director.

The event is organized in partnership with Custom Fundraising Solutions (CFS), which introduced The Mattress Fundraiser model in 2005. The company operates in more than 80 locations across the country and has helped over 3,000 schools raise a collective $60 million.
