Children’s Book Author David LaRochelle was at the Minnewaska Area Elementary School this week to share an interactive experience on writing and illustrating books with the kids. His presentation included puppets, drawings and storytelling. The kids helped LaRochelle tell a story by offering suggestions for characters, situations and props. LaRochelle’s visit was sponsored by the Glenwood Public Library and Viking Library System with funded provided in part or in whole with monies from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.
