In it second year of construction, the Highway 29 overpass project remains on schedule and will likely be completed by late September, it was stated recently.  Crews were moving base material (left) from the north side of Koep’s Bobbers and Bait at the intersection of Highway 29 and Highway 55 in Glenwood last week and using it to buildup the road Highway 29 grade to match the bridge, which will span Highway 55 and the Canadian Pacific Railway.  Last summer, the project included a new alignment of Highway 55 and construction of a Highway 55 roundabout at 160th Street.  This summer, crews are constructing the overpass bridge, the overpass road and building a roundabout at  Highway 29 and 160th Street.  Although the road is closed on both sides of the overpass now, business access in that area remains open.
