The Starbuck High School class of 1954 celebrated the 68th anniversary of their graduation with a class reunion on July 2. It was held at the Starbuck VFW and a noon meal was served. There was a small response for the event but the five classmates who came had a great time reminiscing, it was stated. 

In attendance were (pictured above) Jerald Pederson of Hawley, Robert Kirkwold of Starbuck, Allene Giesen Sieling of San Carlos, Calif., Inga Mae Urke of Starbuck and Donald Dullum of Glenwood. Inga Mae attended Hancock High School her last two years and graduated from there but had always been invited to reunions. Also attending were the wives of Jerald Pederson and Donald Dullum and Beth Mathies, the daughter of Robert Kirkwold. Class members shared highlights from their lives. Many classmates have passed away and some live very far away but those who were able to attend certainly enjoyed getting together again and are thankful for still being able to get around and being in quite good health.
