The 9th Annual Minnewaska Classic Car Show wheels into Starbuck on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Starbuck City Park. “This year our goal is to have over 100 cars. We had 97 prior years,” said Jef Fredine, one of the car show organizers.

The event features vehicles from several decades along with music from C&M Rock throughout the park. There will be several food vendors in the park as well.

Awards are handed out to several of the participants at the show, including a Best in Show award and Top Choice awards. Last year’s Best in Show winner was Remee Holland with a 1934 Ford International.

“The best benefits are for the spectators: there is no admission charge and our generous sponsors have supplied prizes for kids and adults,” said Fredine.

For those bringing in their vehicles for display, the gates open at 9 a.m. and registration is $10. Call Jef at (612)963-3470 or Dave Gunderson at (612)741-7616 with any questions.

A Vintage and Artisan Market will also be in the Starbuck City Park this Friday and Saturday. Read more about the Vintage and Artisan Market here.
