The 2022 Pope County Fair is in the books as another success. Despite Saturday’s rain cancelling the truck and tractor pull, several of the antique tractor drivers put on a show of their own and the inflatables, games and animals were still a big hit. Area 4-Hers had a successful event showing their projects and holding a noteworthy auction. The food was outstanding, the animals were spectacular, the events were unbeatable and the sense of community at this year’s fair are what made such a memorable event.
