Voters in Minnewaska Area School District will have a choice this fall for who will represent the district on the school board. Six filed for three, four-year positions open on the MAS board. They are Miriah Cassidy, Will Harvey, incumbent Zach Lagred Amanda Ogdahl, Incumbent Ted Reichmann and Randall Sander.
Lisa Martin and incumbent Justin Zavadil also filed for a two-year position that is open for election this fall.
Glenwood City Commission
Glenwood voters won’t have a choice for mayor or the two city commissioner seats open for election this fall.
Incumbent Mayor Sherri Kazda was the only one who filed for the 4-year mayor position. Only two individuals filed for the two open commission seats. Incumbent Neil Haynes filed for another 4-years on the city commission and Brent Cochran filed for the other seat that is being vacated by incumbent Donna Martin, who did not file.
In Starbuck, voters don’t have a choice either. There are two, four-year seats open for election to the city council and two filed. Christopher Taffe and Dane Christensen filed for those council seats. And incumbent mayor Gary Swenson was the lone filer for the mayor seat, a two-year term.
