• Goal is to go to online only in 2023-24
The Minnewaska Area Schools Activities Department will begin transitioning to online ticketing for the upcoming 2022-23 school year.
Spectators will have the option to purchase tickets online in advance of attending a Laker event or pay at the door as has been done in the past.
The long-term goal is to move to online ticketing only for the 2023-24 school year, according to Minnewaska Area AD Phil Johnsrud.
The online ticketing system to be used is Vanco Events, which has been used at Minnewaska Area and several area schools in the past.
The Vanco link to Laker events at home and occasionally on the road is (https://www.vancoevents.com/us/eventlist/minnewaska). This link can be conveniently utilized on your smartphone or computer.
An additional option to the link is a Vanco QR Barcode, which can be scanned with your smartphone.
Posting of the new online ticketing options will be provided through school communication such as email, school website and social media. At Minnewaska Area, the new online ticketing will be used this fall for C-squad, JV and varsity volleyball, varsity football, and swimming and diving.
“We encourage you to begin using the online ticketing process for the ease and efficiency it offers our school district and fans,” Johnsrud said. “At this time, several schools in the area and the West Central Conference are also moving to this process so you will see online ticketing while visiting other schools for Laker events as well.”
Laker event tickets are already available for purchase on the Vanco Events website. Please watch for more information and details about online ticketing in the near future.
