MINNEWASKA AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT #2149 GLENWOOD, MINNESOTA MONDAY, JULY 18, 2022 REGULAR MEETING MINUTES

The Minnewaska Area Schools Board of Education met in regular session on Monday, July 18, 2022 in the Minnewaska Area Schools District Office Board Room. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Vice Chairperson Zavadil. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Members Absent: Barsness, T. Reichmann

Motion by Lagred seconded by, Holtberg to approve the agenda as presented.

Special Recognitions & Honors: 

The MAS school board would like to thank the building-level Administrative Assistants for their hard work during the month of June. Their dedication to closing out the 2021-22 school year and the efforts put forth in the starting preparations for the 2022-23 school year. A big thank you to Jamie Dietzmann, Kelly Bleick, Terri Richards, Nancy Rapp, Kristen Quelle, Kylie Murken, and Audrey Frey.

The MAS school board would like to thank the District’s school counselors for their hard work this spring and summer in preparing the 2022-23 school year schedule and for the extra hours that they put in behind the scenes. A big thank you to Hannah Meagher, Jennifer Ring, and Jon Weaver.

Superintendent Rankin reviewed the Summary of Bills, Investment Report, Revenue and Expenditure Reports along with the FY22 Summary of Fund 1 Accounts and Student Activity Accounts.

Motion by Zavadil, seconded by Holtberg, to approve the Claims & Accounts totaling $1,558,805.50.
