The roundabout at the Highway 29 and 160th Street intersection in Glenwood is taking shape
Crews have poured the curb and gutter, and within the next two weeks, paving in the roundabout should be completed, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT).
The two roundabouts at both intersections of 160th Street will serve as the new connection between Highway 29 and Highway 55 when the overpass project is complete.
As for the bridge construction of the overpass, with the beams set, crews are now decking on spans two, three and four. Plus, they’re pouring the south abutment (section that connects the road to the bridge).
This is the second year of the overpass project and it remains on schedule to be completed by this fall.
