Happenings at Central Square

This Saturday at 7 p.m. Southern Raised returns to the Lee Paulson Stage at Central Square! Southern Raised is a group of award-winning kinfolk, trained in classical music but raised in the bluegrass soaked Ozark Mountains. They have created a Southern Raised trademark sound where classical meets bluegrass and city streets meet country roads. Central Square looks forward to presenting this award winning, genre breaking band. They have 32 SPBGMA Midwest nominations, multiple number one songs and have garnered over 12 million views on their YouTube channel.

Cash prizes during this event are sponsored by American Solutions for Business.

Also, on Saturday evening from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., stop by the Art in the Square Gallery for an open house reception for artist, Dennis Anderson. Dennis’s work is astonishing in its detail and depth. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet the artist!

Tickets for Southern Raised are $30 in advance, $35 on the day of the event. A reminder that children 12 and under are admitted for free with the presence of an adult ticketholder. Get your tickets today by calling 320-634–0400 or visiting https://ticketpeak.co/centralsquare.

Art in the Square Gallery

Central Square’s gallery exhibit features the intricate drawings of Dennis Anderson. He captures the nuances of shadow and light and translates them into powerfully detailed renderings of landscapes and portraits.

A reminder that there will be an open house reception for Anderson on Sept. 17, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Rolling Forks Vineyards will sponsor this reception. Central Square is grateful for the support of Rolling Forks Vineyards and their incredible wines!

Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Fridays by appointment.
