Kirk Stensrud, CEO of Glacial Ridge Health System (GRHS) addressed a large crowd at the recent Auxiliary Harvest Ball, a fundraising event that was held Oct. 7 at Minnewaska Brewing Co. + Grill.  The 18th Annual Harvest Ball attracted a full house and featured a Roaring ‘20s theme, with men in tuxedos and three-piece suits and women dressed like the “flappers” of the 1920s.  The funds raised at the event will be going toward the purchase of a new bone density scanner in the Radiology Department.  The Auxiliary of the Glacial Ridge Health System has been supporting the hospital’s efforts since 1939 when the group was organized by Ann Bickle. She created the group with community service in mind and it became the first Hospital Auxiliary in the State of Minnesota.
