Maeson Tank

(Boys Cross-Country)

Maeson Tank, a junior with the Minnewaska Area boys cross-country team, is the latest Laker “Athlete of the Week,” selected by coach Jennifer Johnsrud.  Maeson is the son of Karin and Jason Tank.

“Maeson has worked hard to do everything right this season,” coach Johnsrud said.  “He has put in the extra time, miles and work that it takes to be successful.  He is leading our boys’ team with his strong work ethic and focus. 

“His determination and relentless effort are second to none. I am looking for a strong finish for Maeson in our upcoming postseason meets.”

In the opening seven meets, Tank has placed first at the LQP Invitational while also placing second once, third once, fourth three times and sixth once.

The boys’ cross-country team has placed second twice at the LQP and Staples-Motley Meets.
