At the Glacial Ridge Health System (GRHS) Auxiliary’s last general membership meeting of the year, Marvelle Weispfennig, Auxiliary President, and Margaret Claeson, Auxiliary Treasurer, presented a check of $20,000 to Glacial Ridge Health System’s Radiology Staff. The money was raised by the Auxiliary’s 18th Annual Harvest Ball which took place October 7 at Minnewaska House. The money will be used to fulfill part of the $50,000 pledged by the Auxiliary to purchase a new DEXA Scan bone density scanner for GRHS. Weispfennig said, “We are truly pleased to have held the Harvest Ball again, and we are so thankful. This couldn’t be done without the help and support from the community.”
