Happenings at Central Square
The Christmas season is fast approaching! Join Central Square on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 3 p.m. for Mason Dixson Line’s “A Kickin’ Country Christmas” concert. Secure your tickets today by visiting centralsquare.org! Tom’s Food Market is a proud sponsor of this 2022 concert series performance! American Solutions for Business will sponsor cash prize giveaways at this event.
There are still tickets available for this show, but they are selling fast! Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 on the day of the event. A reminder that children 12 and under are admitted for free with the presence of an adult ticketholder. There are also have special ticket prices for students and educators. Call for details! Art in the Square Gallery
Please join Art in the Square’s featured gallery artist and Glenwood native, Marie Merten, for her closing gallery reception before Mason Dixon Line hits the stage on Dec. 11 from 1:30-3 p.m. Enjoy hot cocoa and pastries from Tom’s Food Market, along with the opportunity to meet Merten and purchase her artwork – this is a free event open to the public.
Merten’s work will be on display in the Art in the Square Gallery now through Dec. 31 during gallery hours, Monday through Thursday, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Holiday Food Drive
Central Square will hold two food drive events this holiday season! Donations of non-perishable Thanksgiving themed food items are being accepted now through Tuesday, Nov. 22. Their next food drive is in collaboration with the Lakes Area Chamber & Welcome Center. More details on that coming soon.
Open Mic Night Hiatus
Central Square’s Open Mic Night will take a two-month hiatus over the holiday season and will continue on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023.

Finish your holiday shopping at Central Square’s Makers Market & Just for Kix Mini Holiday Dance Show on Saturday, Dec. 17. This event will be held at Central Square from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. with the free mini dance show at 1 p.m. There will be popcorn, candy, soda, and water available at the concession booth! Just for Kix will also have bake sale treats available!
