Santa Claus made an appearance in Glenwood last Thursday on the back of an antique Glenwood Fire Truck. He waved to a good crowd of area residents who were on hand for the parade the kickoff of the Magical Christmas activities in Glenwood.

Magical Christmas kicked off in Glenwood last week with a tree lighting ceremony on the courthouse lawn followed by the lighted parade. There was a blessing, a welcome from the mayor and a welcome from the Waterama royalty. The lighted parade kicked off with Santa and was followed by several floats including royalty from Waterama and Starbuck’s Heritage Days. The streets were packed despite the cold weather and faces were lit up with the holiday spirit.
