Krisie Barron is a Licensed Social Worker Caregiver Specialist. She is also a Certified Trainer with Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care. Barron will help navigate the human experience of caregiving and dementia. She will discuss how the stories we tell ourselves impact the way we support ourselves and others. Barron will also provide participants with the understanding they need to better support people living with dementia by working with what they have left instead of what they have lost.
This event is open to everyone in the community, including family care partners, friends, service providers and care professionals and anyone else who provides care or support for people living with dementia.
