Veterans all over the nation were honored over the Memorial Day holiday and Pope County definitely did their part in ensuring the recognition of those who served. Programs were held in Starbuck, Glenwood, Lowry and Villard. Showcasing local talent through song and words made the programs even more special. We honor and thank the veterans of Pope County and the United States, both living and dead, for their service to our country.
