With hard work and diligence, and a big idea from five young shooters on the Minnewaska High School trap team– Mason Reichmann, Dylan VanZee, John Jenson, Levi Schultz and Cole Kittelson, the “field of dreams” is now a reality.  It was only fitting that the five who did all the work shot the first targets on the new trap station at the Glenwood Gun Club.  

The boys raised a large amount of the money needed to add the new trap station to the local shooting range.

Ray Johnson from River View Cement who did the concrete work for the new Minnewaska Trap station. Johnson was also instrumental in securing the donation of concrete and block from Duininck Concrete, according to Jennie Stone.
