NOTICE OF INTENT TO AMEND THE POPE COUNTY 

OFFICAL ZONING MAP

Please take notice that on the 3rd day of October 2023 at 9:00 a.m. or shortly thereafter, the Pope County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing in the 3rd Floor Board Room at the Pope County Courthouse, Glenwood, Minnesota 56334, in consideration of amending the official zoning map. The amendment includes changing parcels that are currently designated as being in the Non-Intensive Agriculture (A-1) zoning district to a Residential (R) zoning district which would bring the parcels into conformance with the Land Use Controls Ordinance. 

This hearing constitutes a notice of intention to adopt a zoning map change that more appropriately represents current land use in Pope County, MN.

Copies of the proposed zoning map change is available in the Land and Resource Management Department, County Auditor Department, and on the Pope County website https://www.popecountymn.gov/map/.
