Growing Green

By Robin Trott, Extension Educator

University of Minnesota Extension is hosting a flower farmer forum to address key questions facing Minnesota’s flower growers and foster a stronger network within the community. Cut flowers, versatile and in demand for various decorative uses, offer opportunities for both small-scale and large-scale producers seeking to supplement their crops or compete locally against the international market.

If you’re considering commercial flower farming or are a beginner with questions, join experienced growers from Minnesota and Wisconsin starting March 20. Every Wednesday until April 24, from 1-2:30 p.m., gain insights into the business of flower farming through practical advice, success stories and ample Q&A time.

When: Wednesdays, 1-2:30 p.m., March 20-April 24

Where: Online sessions via Zoom, all sessions will be recorded.
