NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT – REQUEST TO BRING IN FILL AND COMPLETE EXCAVATION NEEDED TO CONSTRUCT A 25’ LIGHTHOUSE AND 8’ TO 10’ PATH ON CITY OWNED LAND LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE STARBUCK MARINA WHICH IS PART OF THE SHORELAND DISTRICT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council for the City of Starbuck will hold a public hearing on March 11, 2024 at 6:45 pm to discuss issuing a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to bring in fill and do the excavation needed to build a 25’ lighthouse on the south side of the Starbuck Marina which is part of the shoreland district and in a flood plain area. This will also include an 8’ to 10’ path to access the lighthouse. The location of the hearing will be at the Starbuck Community Center at 307 East 5th Street, Starbuck, MN.
