2024 WATER STORAGE TANK RECONDITIONING
Glenwood, Minnesota
Notice is hereby given ELECTRONIC PROPOSALS for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for the complete construction of the 2024 Water Storage Tank Reconditioning will be received by the Owner at the office of Widseth Smith Nolting & Associates Inc., 610 Fillmore Street, Alexandria, Minnesota 56308, until the hour of 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at which time they will be publicly opened.
The proposed work includes, but is not limited to the following major work items:
Mobilization
Structure Modifications
Surface Repairs
Interior Wet Area Abrasive Blast and Coating
Exterior Area Abrasive Blast and Coating
Logo
No bid will be considered unless it is electronically submitted through QuestCDN vBid (Online Bidding ONLY) prior to 11:00 AM on the 9th day of April 2024. No paper bids will be accepted. Bid security must be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the office of Widseth Smith Nolting & Associates Inc., 610 Fillmore Street, Alexandria, Minnesota.

You may download the digital plan documents electronically for $50.00. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office by calling 320-762-8149 to schedule an appointment and upon non-refundable payment of $50.00 for each set. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Checks for Bidding Documents must be made payable to “Widseth”. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount equal to 5% of the total amount of the bid made payable without condition to the Owner, as a guarantee that the Bidder, if awarded the Contract, will promptly execute the Agreement in accordance with the Bid and the other Contract Documents.
The City of Glenwood will be using MN Public Facilities Authority funds for this project. Bidders are encouraged to utilize Disadvantaged Business Enterprises for this project. The project also has American Iron and Steel requirements.
