ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The city of Long Beach, Minnesota, is officially inviting contractors to submit sealed bids for the construction of a new city administration building, aiming to enhance the city’s facilities with a state-of-the-art building. This invitation is in accordance with Minnesota state statutes, ensuring a transparent and competitive bidding process.

The new city hall project seeks to replace the existing city hall. The proposed facility will include city offices, public meeting space, and wastewater utility infrastructure.

The City Council has released detailed bid documents which include specifications for the construction, timeline for completion, and compliance requirements with local and state regulations. Bids must be submitted by registered mail by the deadline set for end of day on July 5,2024. Late submissions will not be considered. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Long Beach City Council Regular meeting in July, ensuring a transparent selection process.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on June 24, 2024, from 4pm – 6pm at the current city hall, providing an opportunity for interested contractors to gather more information and ask questions regarding the project.
