Speaking of Sports

The Pope County Tribune is set to begin the 2024 PCT Football Contest in the Sept. 9 paper.

Here’s your chance to win some free money by simply writing down (or circling) the winners of some high school, college and NFL games and e-mailing me with the winners.

You can drop it off or mail it to the PCT, but an easier way is to e-mail me at sports@pctribune.com with your list of winners.  You can even circle the winners from the form in the paper, take a picture of it and e-mail it to me.

Each week, the winners will be highlighted in the paper along with the next list of games.

The winner gets $15 and second place wins $10 and it doesn’t have to cost you a thing.  The PCT football contest will last eight weeks, giving you plenty of chances to win some money.

You might have thought about doing it in the past, or might have thought it’s too hard to enter.  Either way, just write down some teams and send me an e-mail and the next thing you know you’ll be seeing your name in the paper as one of our winners.

Give the PCT Football contest a chance this year.  There’s really no reason not to.
