Admires letter
From Brenda Arends,

Theresa Tibbetts, you wrote the letter I wish I had written (Sept. 2 issue). I admire you so much for it.
Hatred is a terrible thing
From Bruce Bouwmam
Lowry
Many people have shown extreme hatred toward Former President Donald Trump. So much that it interferes with clear thinking.
The former president is not a perfect person at all. Nor are we. We might not like Trump’s personality or the strong words he sometimes uses, but he most certainly makes sense when he speaks of what needs to be done to greatly improve what has happened to America the last few years.
Hatred is a terrible thing to do to ourselves, as it only poisons our hearts toward others. God used imperfect people like Moses, King David, The Apostle Paul to do things that bettered his Kingdom.
Jesus said if you hate someone you have already murdered him. Repentance needs to come then to be redeemed of your sin. I do not hate Kamala Harris or Tim Walz. I feel sorry for them for they may not know what they are doing.
Knowing right from wrong is a very important thing to realize. Common sense comes to play in this coming election as this country has gone backward in its thinking. I wish to think that this fall voters will come to grips with what will bring this country back togther again. As it is said: “A divided nation cannot stand.” And he who is without fault, let him cast the first stone.
