Important Announcements

NWEA Testing:

We will conduct NWEA testing from September 9th to October 4th. The data collected from these assessments will guide our instruction throughout the year. Please help ensure students get a good night’s rest and have a balanced breakfast to perform at their best.

6th Grade Field Trip to WaterFest:

Our 6th-grade students had the opportunity to explore and learn at WaterFest on September 13. This hands-on experience promises to be both educational and fun!

Homecoming Week:

Join us in celebrating Homecoming from September 15th to 20th! Don’t miss the Homecoming Parade on September 20th. We encourage everyone to participate in the festivities and support all of our Laker activities.

Building a Positive School Community

In my meetings with each class, I have emphasized two essential rules to help ensure a fantastic middle school experience: “Be Nice and Try Your Best!” These guiding principles will help foster a supportive and encouraging environment for everyone.

We are grateful for your support in reinforcing these values at home. The partnership we share with families is vital to our students’ success, and we appreciate your commitment to their education.

As we move forward, I look forward to continued collaboration between our school and our families. Together, we can make this school year a memorable and successful one for all our students.
