Minnewaska School District voters elected four school board members from a field of six candidates.   With 30 of 30 precincts reporting, the four elected were Justin Zavadil 19.04% Angela Reichmann (19.13 percent), Chad Barsness (17.89%) and Gordon E. Moeller (16.22%).  

Incumbent Starbuck Mayor Gary Swenson was reelected from a field of four candidates, receiving 353 votes (47.32%).  In the Starbuck City Council race, Starbuck voters elected Kris Goracke, who received the most votes of the five candidates vying for two seats.  Goracke received 426 votes.  Incumbent Mary Baukol was also elected with 340 votes. Rep. Paul Anderson (R) was easily reelected with 74.12% of the vote in District 12A of the Minnesota Legislature.  His challenger Becky K. Parker received 25.81 percent of the vote.
