What could go wrong?
From Jim Thoreen,

Gosh! I’m amazed at how quickly the Washington, DC Clown Car is jammed full of a star-studded list of Cabinet members for the January assumption of office by Donald Trump. This nation is headed for some “exciting” times with a lineup of GOP stars (or czars) which will keep many of us scratching our heads as we contemplate the next four years. Of course, if past history for Trump Cabinet appointments is a precursor for his next administration, you should get a giant-sized score sheet or write the names in pencil. A few examples of the former and future President’s personnel skills as he goes to extensive searches for “the best”:
Kristi Noem as the Homeland Security Secretary. Maybe we could call her by the nickname “Deadeye Kristi.” You may recall that she shot an “untrainable dog” because her South Dakota hunting trips demand perfect retrieving.
Stephen Miller, or perhaps we could call him Mein Herr! He will see that all illegal citizens receive the boot. Maybe 10 million or more people. That’s a lot of airplanes packed to the gills with all those workers who are critical to picking our fruits from orchards across the country. They’re the people who replace shingles when the hurricanes hit our shores; they’re the gatherers of many farm products.
What could go wrong if they are all shipped out?
Doug Burgum, North Dakota Governor, who will become the nation’s Energy Czar.
Trump has told him that the “climate crisis is one of the greatest scams of all time.”
“Drill, Baby, Drill.”
Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy. A dynamic duo if ever there was one. They will constitute the “Department of Government Efficiency” as its only two employees. Elon will… well, probably do whatever he wants as he bows to The Donald (or vice versa). Vivek is much more precise in his plans. For starters he reportedly pledges to shut down: the FBI; IRS; Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; Center for Disease Control and Prevention; and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Gosh. What will he do in week two?
So much for us to learn about…such limited space. In coming weeks we can learn about Attorney General appointee Matt Gaetz, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
But they’re undoubtedly all “right.” Again, what could go wrong?
‘I hope and pray…’

With the election of Donald Trump, I hope and pray with all my heart that our peace and freedom have not been overcome with the likes of Adolph Hitler’s Germany.
