Rolling Forks Vineyards, a small, family-owned winery located in the heart of Minnesota, is thrilled to announce that two of its wines have been awarded Gold Medals at the 29th annual Catad’Or World Wine Awards, held in Santiago, Chile. 

This prestigious international competition, which attracted over 1,000 entries from 17 countries, is widely regarded as the most important wine competition in Latin America. Catad’Or World Wine Awards has the endorsement of the International Organization of Vineyard and Wine (OIV), Asociación de Ingenieros Agrónomos Enólogos de Chile (ANIAE), and is a member of VINOFED.

The two award-winning wines are:

• Marquette: A bold, complex red wine crafted from the Marquette grape, a cold-hardy variety developed by the University of Minnesota. (89/100 points)

This remarkable achievement underscores the exceptional quality of Minnesota-grown grapes and the skill of Rolling Forks Vineyard’s vineyard management and winemaking team, it was stated.  By winning two Gold Medals in such a competitive international competition, Rolling Forks has firmly established itself as a leader in the production of high-quality, cold-climate wines.
