The Starbuck community hosted a special night of Christmas fun, Saturday, with trolley rides at the Depot; visits with Santa, food, drinks and snacks at the Nutcracker Cafe; and a Lighted Parade through the streets of Starbuck at 7 p.m. “I thought it was another great turnout and we had a lot of spectators, too, despite the cold.  Overall, we were very happy with the turnout,” Starbuck Area Chamber of Commerce president Karen Tharaldson said.

Helping out Santa again this year at the Nutcracker Cafe was Dave Arbuckle, who brought along an elf helper this year.  During their visit with Santa, area youth could sample some treats and hot chocolate, mail a letter to Santa in his special Santa Mailbox and receive a small treat from Santa, along with telling him their Christmas wish list.  The Starbuck Area Chamber of Commerce was responsible for organizing all the events Saturday night.
