The Minnewaska Area 5th and 6th grade bands performed in concert, Tuesday, Dec. 17 in the auditorium.  The 2024 Winter Band Concert included nine holiday songs by the 5th graders followed by four selections from the 6th grade band.

Directing the 5th grade band was Jen Germundson and directing the 6th graders was Heidi Polzin.

The concert by the 5th and 6th graders closed out a month-long series of concerts by K-12th grade students at MAHS.

The 5th grade band has over 70 members, while the 6th grade band has almost 80 musicians.

The Minnewaska Area Schools’ music department wishes everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
