The Minnewaska Area dance teams competed at the Alexandria Invitational, Saturday, a meet that included several other Section 2A teams, including NLS and BBE.

The JV Jazz and B-squad Jazz teams both placed second to lead the Lakers, while the Varsity High-Kick team earned fourth and the Varsity Jazz team was fifth

Winning the varsity competitions were Crosby-Ironton while NLS was second in both disciplines.

The Lakers have another two-meet week this week with the Montevideo Invitational set for Friday and the St. Cloud Cathedral Invite scheduled for Saturday.
