First Lutheran Church (1655 18th Ave. E, Alexandria) is hosting a “Surviving the Holidays” event on Thursday, Nov. 21, at 3 p.m. This is a gathering for anyone who is grieving the loss of a loved one during the holidays. Local professionals will offer tips to help cope during this difficult time. The GriefShare Movie “Surviving the Holidays” will be shown and there will be a small group discussion. No registration is required.
