Glenwood firefighters were training on the use of the new ladder truck on Thursday night in downtown Glenwood.  The ladder truck was recently purchased by the department and Glenwood Firefighters have been using the truck for training exercises in different parts of the city.  On Thursday, they were training on commercial buildings and practicing maneuvering around power lines.  Since adding the ladder truck to the department’s equipment, firefighters have been training with the truck in residential areas as well.  Above, Glenwood Fire Chief Bruce Cerney (far right) directs the training exercise on Franklin Avenue.
