Minnewaska is set to close out the conference schedule, Tuesday (tomorrow), with a home match against Sauk Centre.  The Lakers also are set to take part in the WCC Tourney, Saturday, at Alexandria.

The Lakers lost a close match at NLS last Monday night, 6-1.  The match was much closer than the score indicates as the Lakers lost three very tight matches at doubles and were also playing without the services of their normal third singles player, Rachel Rankin, who missed the match for unknown reasons.

Alia Randt earned Minnewaska’s lone point with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at first singles to raise her record to 11-6.

In doubles, Olivia Danielson and Avarie Uhde lost a first-set tiebreaker on the way to a 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 loss at first doubles, while Katy Vold and Katie Sorenson also lost a tiebreaker during a 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) loss at second doubles, and Norah VanZee and Addy Heid fell in three sets at third doubles, 3-6, 7-5, 6-2.
