Glenwood’s annual lighted parade will twinkle through downtown Glenwood on Thursday, December 7, at 5:30 p.m. The perfect event to kick off the season with neighbors and cheer!

The lighted holiday parade begins on First Avenue Northwest and continues onto Minnesota Avenue to Second Street Northeast. Hot chocolate and popcorn will be served, starting at 4:30 p.m., at the Pocket Park courtesy of American Solutions for Business.

December 7

• 4-7 p.m. – Free Community Supper at Glenwood Lutheran Church Social Hall, 206 MN Ave. E, Glenwood.

• 4:30 p.m. – Popcorn & hot chocolate served on MN Ave. by the Pocket Park, courtesy of American Solutions for Business

• 5-7 p.m. – Erickson’s Petting Zoo lighted horse & wagon rides for the entire family. Located in the parking lot of the church.

• 5:15 p.m. – Tree Lighting Ceremony – Light up the Town, in front of the Pope County Court House

• 5:30 p.m. – Lighted Holiday Parade

Saturday, December 9

• 10 a.m.-5 p.m. – Glenwood Day at Andes Tower Hills. Tickets will be on sale until 4 p.m. on Dec. 8 and must be purchased in advance at the Glenwood Lakes Area Welcome Center & Chamber.
