The Lakers girls basketball team is on a roll.  Minnewaska beat Eden Valley-Watkins (61-43) and Melrose Area (75-26) last week to extend a current winning streak to four games and up its overall record to 9-4.

The Lakers put everything together at Melrose, Thursday, scoring 46 first-half points and holding the Dutchmen to only 26 points overall.  Minnewaska, which is 5-1 in the conference, is still a half game back of Sauk Centre in the WCC standings.  The two teams are set to meet up again Feb. 1 at MAHS.

The Lakers are set to go on the road for the next four games, including a game Tuesday (tomorrow) against Barnesville and a game Friday at Rocori.
