Two days of fun at Padua!

The Padua Pub and the community of Padua hosted a two-day celebration for St. Patrick’s Day, Saturday and Sunday.  The 44th annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration included a parade down the main street of Padua, Sunday, which took place under blustery and very frigid conditions (I’ve been told the parade goes on no matter the weather).  Prizes were awarded to the parade winners and judging was done by everyone in attendance.  Throughout the weekend, green beer was flowing and there were plenty of Irish stew meals and corned beef sandwiches served.  There were also two Shamrock scavenger hunts, music both days and plenty of other food, drinks, fun and camaraderie.  All in all though, it was a great day to celebrate, especially if you were Irish.
